And mind you the way things are going if your into cds grab this one while you can.Why?because its just a matter of time before cds go by the wayside...Unfortunately people like me that love cds are a dying breed...Think about it, where is Tower Records? where is HMV? Now all you have is Walmart that for my taste the cds they have for sale are always a mess in the stores...I miss Tower..What a shame, Oh well.Go ahead order it... you wont be disappointed. 14 of 15 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Gold (Audio CD) If you already have the 2CD set "The Ultimate Collection" released in 2000, you already have 29 of the 30 tracks in this collection. And it's practically in the same sequence with almost the same cover. The only difference is the former has the track "Love Makin Music" while this one has "Baby We Better Try To Get It Together". What can I say. No matter what music people are into or their age, they all know the name Barry White. I would suggest this CD to complete any collection. I like all music but lean mostly towards hard rock (Later Metalical, Nickelback and so on). But with my average tube stereo system and full range speakers (about $30k average retail value) it is amazing how many CDs are poorly mixed or don't sound real. I now listen to a lot of female singers as their sound is not compressed to make it sound like a fake concert hall.Barry's voice is amazing on a pure system without sub-woofers. The way music used to sound. It almost feels like you are there. The recordings are good quality but dated in the terms of backup instrumentation. And the words are from a different time. But overall the CD is a collection of classics that definitely should be shared. Some may laugh at first when you put it on but slowly become seduced by Mr. White's amazingly deep and fluid...
