I waited with baited breath and when it finally arrived I rushed to my CD player and didn't recognize the music. Hallmark burned the wrong music on the CD.I contacted Amazon.com and we thought that it was a fluke. No such luck. When I received the replacement copy that copy had the wrong music. Worst part was it wasn't even Andre Previn's music. Lastly, the CD tag is incorrect. My vinyl copy was so full of clicks and clacks and skips that it was pretty much unplayable. I wore it out playing it over and over. Loved the music, especially the title cut.When I saw this being offered on cd, I jumped at the chance until I read the two reviews. Only a slight hesitation on my part, but I ordered it anyway. Needless to say, I have to respectfully disagree with the previous reviewers to say that this is exactly like the vinyl I still have. The music is great, Previn and Rose did a marvelous job! Highly recommended for anyone who loves soft jazz. |
